How to build an eCommerce store in SocialBot

This help article will guide you on creating an eCommerce store inside and outside of  Facebook messenger?

Let get started with creating the store.

Create a Store 

Step 1: Click on create a store.

Step 2: Select your page where you want to show this store.

Step 3: Enter the store name and necessary details like name, email, contact number, and address.

Step 4: Upload your store logo and favicon.

Step 5: if you want to analyze on Facebook or in google, you can enter your pixel id.

Step 6: Enter your Terms and conditions and your refund policy details.

Step 7:  To make a store online, click on the status radio button set as active and click on the “Create Store” button.

Done your store is ready initially. Now you’re ready to build your check-out setting.

Create a Checkout flow. 

In this, you can set the checkout page how your customer can check out.

Step 1:  To make a payment, you have multiple choices to collect payments. Like PayPal, Stripe, Mollie, RazorPay, haystack, Manual payments, COD. Enter your id, key to your payment gateway to receive compensation from customers

 Step 2: You can set payment active or de-active by pressing yes or no.

Step 3: Select your currency and set up your labels; if you want to show two decimal currencies (e.g., 10.50$ ), you can set the active button.  

Step 4: Enter your tax details and delivery charges.

Step 5: Set up your address preferences like store pickup delivery notes. If you want a specific country for checkout, you can also control your check out with the state, city, and zip.

Step 6: To collect email and phone numbers, check as enable so that you can do Email and SMS marketing.

Step 7: Click on the 'save' button. Done, your check-out settings are ready to collect your payment. Now you can add products and design menus.

Create product. 

To create a product, you must create categories and attribute for simplicity while displaying.

What is the difference between categories and attributes?

Categories are types, for example. In the restaurant. Italian food, American food, Chinese food,

Where attributes are variants. For example. In the restaurant. Small burger, medium burger, a large burger

Step 1:  Click on 'Add Category'.

Step 2: Select the store and enter your category name.

Step 3: You can set active or de-activate using the radio button and click on save.

Done your category is added, and now you can add attributes.

How to add an attribute.

Step 4: Click on the Add Attribute button.

 Step 5:  Select Your store.

Step 6: Enter attribute name and values for it.

For example Attribute name is Size, and the values are Small, Med, Large.

Step 7: You can activate multi-select and optional also for the selection of product.

Step 8: You can set active or de-active using the radio button and click on the Save button.

Done your attribute is added. Now you're ready to add a product.  

How to create a product. 

Step 9: Click on add product.

Step 10:  Select store, then select categories and attribute.

Step 11: Enter your product name.

Step 12: Enter your original price and sell price.

For example, the original price is 100$, and your sell price is 79$, it will show as 79$ / 100$ 

Set variation prices by attribute values: -  

You can set increment and decrement with the main price then add the amount in the last column. For example, if the main price is 79$, you want to increase it for a large attribute value. Then select increase and add amount how much you want to increase like 10$ the customer will be shown 89$ for the large variant.

Step 13: enter your product description and purchase notes.

Step 14: Upload your product photos and thumbnails.

Step 15: control your stock using the display and do not sell out-of-stock options.

Step 16: you can make this product taxable and put it offline and online by changing the radio button status.

Step 17: click on the save button done your product is added.


How to add Delivery points. 

Step 1: Click on add Delivery point.

Step 2: enter Point name and point details

Step 3: set as active if you want to show the delivery point is live.

Step 4: Click on save your delivery is added.

How to create coupons

Step 1: Click on Add coupon.

Step 2: Select the store name and select the product.

Step 3: choose your coupon type. You have 3 options.

  • Percent
  • You can give a discount like 10% off.
  • Fixed cart
  • If the user added product in carts on cart base discount will be added
  • Fixed product
  • If you added a particular product and that product is discounted, for example
  • Get 20% on the sanitizer.

Step 4: enter your code name.

Step 5: enter your amount.

Step 6: enter your expiry date and Max usage limit.

If you want to give a free ship, you can enable it.

Click on the save button done your coupon is ready to apply on products.

Control your orders. 

Once customers place an order, you can control their status as per order processing. You have six options: Pending, approved, rejected, shipped, delivered, completed. You can view your order date-wise. You can print invoices and download orders.

Copy URL

You will get 4 types of URLs you can use to share or used for Bots.

  • Store URL
  • Order URL 
  • Product URL
  • Legal URL

Order Status notification. 

You can send order notification using Messenger | Email | SMS |

Messenger

Step 1:- enter your notification message.

Step 2:  Click on the Save button.


SMS

Step 1: Enter your notification message.

Step 2:  Select your SMS Sender

Step 3:  Click on the Save button. 

Email

Step 1: enter your notification message.

Step 2: Select your Email Sender

Step 3: Enter your Subject

Step 4:  Click on the Save button. 

 Confirmation Reminder

Grab your losing customer by reminding them. Using Reminder and confirmation template

You can send reminder using Messenger | Email | SMS

Messenger

Step 1: Enter your reminder message.

Step 2: you have 3 reminder options select when you want to remind them by selecting hours.

Step 3: design your checkout messenger at the end for successful checkout

Step 4: click on the save button done. Your reminder and confirmation are created and ready to use.

SMS

Step 1: Enter your reminder message.

Step 2: Select your sender.

Step 3: you have 3 reminder options select when you want to remind them by selecting hours.

Step 4: design your checkout messenger at the end for successful checkout

Step 5: click on the save button done. Your reminder and confirmation are created and ready to use.

Email

Step 1: Enter your reminder message.

Step 2: Select your Email Sender and put Email Subject.

Step 3: you have 3 reminder options select when you want to remind them by selecting hours.

Step 4: design your checkout messenger at the end for successful checkout

Step 5: click on the save button done. Your reminder and confirmation are created and ready to use.

Reminder report. 

Here you can get reminder report detail about reminder is sent or not. What is the status of the reminder messenger? Is it a delivery success or failing and other basic information like user name, email, subscriber_id, time 

QR Menu feature. 

Instead of searching and order, you can put the QR side of your dish so users can order directly from the desk. It's very safe during the COVID-19 situation.  Users need to scan this QR code and place an order virtually. In QR Menu, you have the option to choose the color of your QR code and Background. Once set, you can download it. Also, you can add your custom welcome message.

Once done, click on the Save button.

View Store option 

You can view your store and share URLs. This gives you and your customer a view of how your store looks.

Done your Store is ready ultimately.
